Ryan gave us a shout this summer to ask if we could photograph his surprise proposal, at Whinny Acres in Priceville, Ontario. We had photographed there before and subsequently became good friends with the owner, Deb, who is a super nice and hard working lady! Our answer: yes, of course (spoiler alert, LOL). It has a beautiful rolling hill landscape lush with trees, flowers, and wildlife in abundance. Which brings us to the part about hiding - hiding in the bushes (selfie pic below), at a pre-determined spot so that Deb could come up with a bogus story about how one of the horse's saddles was loose. She even had to act quick to make sure that Ryan got off on the correct side of his horse, the side the photos were being taken from. In the end it all worked out, and we captured some great engagement session photos. Oh, and she said YES! :)
