We have friends who joke about how much we love photographing at sunset, and so the thought of a sunset ceremony at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville had us giddy! Add in clients who trusted in us completely and allowed lots of creativity, the perfect weather, and gorgeous scenery and it made for a beautiful evening. John and Mirella are such a warm, cute couple who have such supportive friends and family. You know how you can just tell a couple was meant to be together, they radiate love! 

We first met with John, on the wedding day, at Compass Restaurant to take a few solo photos before he joined friends for a drink. Next, we took the elevator up to their suite where Mirella got ready. Her mom could be her twin, and we weren't the only ones to make that joke LOL. 

Then we were off to coordinate a "first look" for just the two of them before the ceremony. Deerhurst has a balcony-like second floor that works perfectly for this type of scenario. Mirella stayed poised outside while awaiting John to come upstairs and around the corner to see her. Their reactions were priceless! 

Just before sunset, these two lovebirds were married on the beach with a small gathering of family and friends to witness their nuptials. We're so happy for them, and feel lucky to have had the opportunity to meet and photograph their special day.

Jo-Ann - Beautiful photos! Love the natural shots. Everyone looks happy and natural. Gorgeous location too.
