Great music, great friends, great decor! Brett and Amie weren't going to let a cold, rainy October day spoil their wedding, no sir-ee! We photographed their Everett, Ont. barn wedding and it was a visual treat. Replete with vintage decor and cozy couches made up of straw bales and quilts. Line dancing capped off the night, and we even managed to get a few rainy evening shots done, to boot! Decor and event planning was provided by Jen and Jenny, of The Wedding Belles, and entertainment for the evening was provided by Ken Lindsay, of Big Event Entertainment. B.Q. ...

My son, Aidan, accompanied me to do some family photos not far from our house on the Thanksgiving weekend. He did a great job, as he had done once before, of slinging gear and helping me out. Janice, who hired me, and her family have a beautiful farm near Flesherton, Ontario. We were worried about the weather and at one point we ran around trying to get a few more pics that were needed because it looked like the heavens were about to open up. Fortunately the sun held out long enough to finish. And this image is one example. Because just as Aidan and I were leaving the driveway in our truck, the wind picked up and it started to hail!B.Q.

Fergus, Ontario, is a beautiful town with the Grand River flowing through the downtown corridor. Wendy and Matt were married at St. James Church, in the Butterfly Gardens that surround the back of the property and overlook the picturesque river. Congrats guys!B.Q.

The last time I was on the golf course at Glen Eagle, in Bolton, Ontario, the twilight rate was $18 (with a cart, and a hamburger) - so it had been a while! But it was as nice as I remembered. And just as nice was the day I spent with Dawn and Daryl to photograph their beautiful wedding. Congrats!B.Q.

I had a great time at Shane and Heather's wedding, and knew it was going to be an raucous and joyfilled event! The weather was great, and the venue: Barrie Golf Club, was stunning. Shane and Heather were so easy going and a pleasure to work with.B.Q.
